Stitch Buffalo at More Fire Glass Studio November 21st, for the first Saturday of our annual holiday pop-up series!
Stitch Buffalo is a textile art center committed to empowering refugee and immigrant women through the sale of their handcrafted goods, inspiring creativity and inclusion through community education, and stewarding the environment through the re-use of textile supplies.
This is a wonderful opportunity to purchase exquisitely handcrafted ornaments and fiber crafts, while supporting the work of this regional gem. The artists at Stitch Buffalo create perfect and meaningful gifts for people of all ages.
November 21st, 10am—4pm, artisan pop-up with Stitch Buffalo, Julie Johnson Ceramics and Herbert Eudora Fiber Arts, as well as glassblowing demonstrations in the hot shop! Our gallery will be stocked with glassy gifts and ornaments. A truly unique event with something for everyone!
About the Artists
The Refugee Women’s Workshop is a thriving community of women artists from Bhutan, Burma, Nepal, Thailand, Egypt, Afghanistan, and beyond who sew handcrafted goods for sale in the community. Through the creation of handcrafted textiles, each artist nurtures her artistic heritage while affirming her self-worth as a woman and a human being.
